The Brilliant Walk
We walk through a garden, just you and I
and I see the roses, while you see the sky
My eyes are set forward, I tell of the way
While yours watch the heavens, and speak of the day
A heart is a flower, a soul is a star
Together, we wander, we travel afar
The sunlit horizon, it dazzles as fire
And each blossom dances, and serves to inspire
We walk through a garden, just you and I
and I see the roses, while you see the sky

Did you write this poetry or did you find on the web.
I love poetry, and I really liked this one.
I write all the poetry that's poested on here, unless otherwise stated. Thanks though, I'm glad you liked!

*wonders if you're really going to post a follow-up or if that way just a lame excuse to point out my poor spelling.*
Very very good. You write some good stuff. All you need now to be a real poet is a barret and a bongo. I think this is really good.
why, thank you! I have a beret, and I can always borrow Aaron's hand drums! ;)
